‘TCSL Reps’ to Enhance Player Experience

‘TCSL Reps’ to Enhance Player Experience

Twin Cities Soccer Leagues hosted 2010 & 2009 Boys and Girls, 160 players from 20 clubs, on October 11 and 12 to launch the TCSL Reps (“Representatives”) program.

Players were nominated for inclusion in the Trials by way of their club’s technical staff.

TCSL and an experienced set of trainers and evaluators identified and ultimately selected a Reps Squad at each age/gender and also players that will be part of the Reps pool during the upcoming winter session (training + match play).

The Reps Squads will take the field against other US Club Soccer selected teams at the upcoming NPL Midwest Select Games in Illinois November 19 & 20.

This new program, which will enhance the player experience and be complementary to club programming, will also achieve the following:

  • Player Growth: match top talent from within the Twin Cities in an intense training and match environment. Players will train throughout the soccer calendar and play select local matches in a challenging environment.
  • Player Opportunity: provide additional opportunities for those that want it and deserve it.
  • Measurement: seek opportunities where we can measure ourselves against like competition.
